And so it begins . . .

Hello Everyone!

I have finally succomb! Here is the New & Amazing HeatonClan blog. It is so hard to keep in touch with everyone, so hopefully this will help!

As of today,

Tyson is a happy first grader. He hates his homework, but reads rather well. It is amazing what they are learning in first grade now-a-days! He is a sports fanatic and it is almost impossible to catch him without some sort of a ball in hand/foot. (this gets really annoying, especially when I ask him to do something because he doesn't stop kicking or throwing/catching to do it . . . and I have learned to stock up on lightbulbs because the lamps are continuously being knocked over.) He is a great kid, loves his brothers, is very helpful and destined to be Mr.Social.

Nicholas is in Preschool. He loves his school and has finally stopped complaining that he has to take a nap at school everyday. This has only taken a year & a half - which seems about right for Nick. He is extremely smart and logical. He processes information and analyzes everything. If you input a concept and facts, he will out put his understanding. He is also an incredible negotiator and I see debate teams in his future. All of this can make his extremely difficult at times and coupled with his fierce determination (obstinance) he is a worthy competitor in the household competition for "who is in charge". He is also incredibly funny and loves to joke around. He is a great brother and loves his Mom!

Evan . . . where do I begin . . . He is the cutest little guy I have ever seen. Although I may be slightly biased, this is definitely true. :) While he can't yet speak, this doesn't stop him from trying or from getting his point accross. He is extremely vocal and very expressive in his body language and facial expressions - for the positive & the negative. He is usually smiling and loves to interact with anyone, anywhere, and at anytime. He started walking early, I think to chase his brothers, and can get up to a full speed run, now which usually ends in a crash, but is cute nevertheless.

John and I are loving being home is Southern California, but really do miss Utah . . . maybe we will get back there someday. We love you all!
